I grew up in Bradford on Avon in Wiltshire and have lived in Somerset since arriving in Taunton in 1978 to work with an organ building company.

 

Later I moved to Wellington and married, and now live with my wife and children in a converted railway station on the edge of Exmoor.

My family were given an old honky-tonk piano when I was nine and I was very drawn to playing it and have never stopped playing!

I was provided with lessons and received tuition until I left home and learned to play without music whilst supporting a local church in Taunton.

I began writing my own songs and compositions which have had a variety of themes including some which are linked to my Christian faith.

I started teaching piano and flute lessons in local schools in 2001 and now have a very full teaching business in the area.

It has been a great joy to start so many, on a musical journey of their own, watching them unfold and develop over the years.

This website is for sharing my experiences, my music and songs, stories and anecdotes to encourage, inspire and bring some laughter along the way.
